What is Video Production?

In common parlance, the process of producing video content is known as Video Production. Video Production is basically carried out in three stages.

The first stage is pre-production which initially comprises all the planning aspects relating to the production of required video before shooting and filming gets initiated. Pre-production process starts as soon as the script is ready and includes script writing, logistics, scheduling and other relevant functions.

The second stage includes actual video production process which refers to capturing/ filming of relevant video content. This is the most crucial stage where videographers are supposed to show their expertise in capturing the relevant subject centric content which may comprise clear moving images in various conditions and backgrounds.

Third and the last stage is post production where the final story takes shape when video editors selects and edits various video clips/ films through the technical process called video editing and develops a finished product ready to be viewed and used commercially.
