Production Scale
You must have heard of or watched movies such as Intolerance (1916), Metropolis( 1927), Ben-Hur (1959), Lawrence of Arabia( 1962), Cleopatra ( 1963), The Fall of the Roman Empire( 1964), You Only Live Twice (1967), Wargames ( 1983), Batman( 1989), Waterworld ( 1995), Titanic( 1997), The Lord of The Rings( 2001-2003), Matrix reloaded( 2003), Stalingrad (2013), Baahubali etc. All these movies have one factor in common i.e. the scale of production, the grand scale of production. These movies are known for their video affects, grandeur and off course the crew size.
Crew size basically determines the production scale. You can produce a video or film with two member crew or a thousand members crew. You can create outstanding videos and films with minimum crew i.e. a solo camera operator and a solo audio operator and many a times we see that with the largest of crew, few producers have produced super flop movies and videos. So the quality and content doesn’t matter much when we talk in terms of Production Scale. The only thing which matters is crew size to determine the Production Scale.
